If you’re looking to buy a new robotic floor cleaner then you’re probably better off staying away from the iTouchless Robotic. Why? Well, it only gets a score of 1.5 out of 5 stars. However, this is only from two customer reviews on Amazon, but the fact that only two people have bothered to rate it should indicate that it’s not a very popular floor cleaner.

On the plus side, it is quiet, it works smoothly, and it has a good quality cleaning brush. However, it does have a small collection bin which needs to be emptied every time you use it, it’s difficult to clean, and it doesn’t work on carpets.

Our advice? Take a look at the iRobot 500 Series, it’s much better.

As a former Roomba owner I had high hopes for the iTouchless. However, it did not live up to my expectations.

The good points. The iTouchless is quieter than the Roomba and doesn’t bang into walls and furniture with the same zest the Roomba does. The brush is a lot fuller and better quality than the one in the Roomba Discovery. Compared to other robotic vacuums, this is priced just right.

Now for the bad. The collection bin is small and has to be emptied with every use. The brushes and roller bar do not snap out like the Roomba. The iTouchless requires you to use a screwdriver to open this area up to clean the brushes. The device has a raised area on top that works like a handle which makes it great for picking it up. On the negative side though it increases the vertical height of the unit causing it to get hung up under cabinets a lot more often than the Roomba. Lastly, it wouldn’t budge on my carpet, which is a frisee, so I can’t say for sure if it would work on a low profile rug or not.

Do NOT buy this if you have CARPETS!!!

This is the worst vacuum I have every used!!! If you have linoleum, hardwood or tiles, no problem. But if you have any carpets or rugs, do not waste you time or money! It also cannot handle going over any edges, like rugs or the bottom of door frames. I cannot begin to say how disappointed I am b/c I have used the Roomba & loved it! But the iTouchless is not even worth mentioning in the same sentence.

Does the iRobot Scooba 350 do a good job of cleaning?

Maybe you have heard of small robots being used in homes to sweep up the floor while everyone is gone. But did you know there is a little robot that will mop you floors too? The “iRobot Scooba 350’ sweeps and mops. This little robot can mop an average of 1 to 3 normal size bead rooms (about 500 square feet) in close to one battery period.

This robot helps to save time and get rid of bacteria on your floor? The manufactures of the “iRobot Scooba 350” state that this little guy removes 98% of the bacteria as it is cleaning the floor. It can clean linoleum, tile, and sealed hard wood floors. Interestingly the “iRobot Scooba 350” does four things as it rolls across your floor. It first has a set of sweeping equipment that sweeps up all grit and crumbs. Then it puts down some water and moping solution to loosen up the grime. This is followed by some little scrubbing feet that even get down into the small grooves in the floor. The final step is it squeegees up the scummy water. Many users are very satisfied with how clean the “iRobot Scooba 350” gets there floors. This cleaning system seems to work very well.

Another nice feature, and interesting to watch, is the infrared sensors that keep the “iRobot” from running into things or falling down stairs. This infrared system prevents it from damaging itself but still allows it to get right next to chair and table legs. Many also appreciate the fact that they do not have to move their furniture around. The “iRobot” just rolls right underneath most furniture, cleaning as it goes.

Overall, most people who own a “iRobot Scooba 350” are very happy with the time they get back and how clean this little worker get’s their floors.

I actually own the 380 model. I consider my floor clean only if I was on my hands and knees cleaning the floor. With four boys it is a everyday affair and I always do not have the time or energy to scrub my floors.

I put the scooba to a test after a day of spilled tea and sugar on the floor along with the muddy footprints. I swept the floor and set it loose. It cleaned up everything, even the areas that I missed from the broom. The only areas the scooba does not clean are corners, but it will free up your time to clean other areas in the house.

This is a great concept, but did not work for my floors. Product is not safe for laminate wood flooring, which is what I turned out to have. Also, my tile floors are white with deep white grout lines, and the dirty water tended to pool in the grout lines. However, I could see this being a great product for other types of hardwood and tile/linoleum floors – just not a great fit in my case.

I wish I’d gotten my Scooba 350 sooner. Living with a 35kg/77lb Old English Sheepdog puppy who hasn’t learned to lift his leg up when peeing, I’d developed thick callouses on my palms from mopping. So the Scooba is heaven sent! My floors are now cleaner than they’ve ever been.

My unit had an initial snag after the first overnight charge – it stopped after less than 10 minutes despite the indication of being fully charged when it started. That was thankfully, a one-off incident – I haven’t stopped using it since. Although it charges fairly quickly, I wish it could do more rooms on one charge. Otherwise, it’s fabulous in keeping the house clean and letting me spend more time with my puppy. I can’t stop telling all my friends and family about Scooba!

If you’re looking for a convenient little device that will easily clean your floors at the touch of a button, then the iRobot Roomba 400 is for you. All you do is press the “clean” button and it goes off and vacuums round the whole flour. It even adjusts automatically to any type of floor surface, whether it be tile, wood, carpet or linoleum. It has built-in artificial intelligence which enables it to determine the size of the room and adjust its cleaning time accordingly. It does everyone on automatic. You just set it going and off it goes to clean the floor.

I have been wanting a Roomba forever but didn’t know anyone who had one….but Amazon was running a deal so I said what the heck…if I didn’t like it I would send it back. Well this thing ROCKS!!!! I wish I had bought it years ago. I have gone from vacuuming 2 to 3 times a week to 1 time a week!! Only because I want too…I’m a neat freak! Do you have pets? Do you hate spending the time to vacuum? Then you definitely want to look into purchasing an iRobot Roomba 532. This model is made special for someone with pets to help cleaning. If you don’t know, an iRobot Roomba 532 is the vacuum that cleans itself! You have to sit it in the charging deck and then you just turn it on and let it run! Once it is done, it will even return itself to the charging dock. How amazing is that? It has safety measures to keep your pet safe if it does get close to it.

This one is amazing! It can hold a ton of dirt and pet hair. It can even pick up kitty litter if you have a cat that isn’t always careful when using the box. It also has special technology so that it doesn’t get tangled up. This keeps it out of all your cords so that you don’t have to pick them up before starting it. I was amazed that I could just turn this little bad boy on and watch it go. You can even turn it on and then leave the house. When you get home, your pet hair is all cleaned up.

The iRobot Roomba 532 makes a great present. Just imagine how excited your significant other would be to not have to do the vacuuming anymore. I know that I was very excited when I received it. I am very excited about this product and would recommend it to anyone!

I received my Pet Roomba before Christmas and have been using it since. My house is a real test with 3 very long haired dogs inside most of the day. I run the Roomba every day to keep the hair down to a minimum and we’ve noticed the floors are much cleaner (even though I used to vacuum alot). However, if you buy this you should know that it requires frequent cleaning of the brushes, particularly the axle area where hair gets easily wrapped (pull off the end cap over the axle). By frequent I mean once or twice during the cleaning cycle. Otherwise, the brushes just stop moving leaving you with a cute robot that just drives around chasing the dogs! So this means you really should only run it when you are at home to keep it clean. I also have already cleaned the front wheel (just pops off – was really full of hair) and the side brush (unscrew the screw). Bottom line, the unit works great so long as it is kept really clean. I’ve got the cleaning down to a minute so it isn’t too big of a deal. But if you think you are just going to run the Roomba and empty the dirt bin once in awhile, you should probably not buy it.

…It picks up SO MUCH CRAP I HAD NO IDEA WAS ON THE FLOOR! I’ve been running it every day for weeks and it still picks up tons of my hair, cat hair and dust. Really does a nice job of vacuuming. Maybe its less strong than a Kirby but since you don’t have to do any work its so easy to just push the button and let it work everyday. In the end I would say that running this everday is equivalent to using a real vacuum once or twice a week. So unless you’re SUPER DUPER anal and vacuum yourself everyday and can’t stand a spec of dust on the floor – this is for you!…

I honestly thought this would not be effective at all. I have (had actually) a very dirty smooth garage floor with all kinds of shelves etc. under which I was almost afraid to look. Unleashing the DOG, it filled up with crud quickly, and I emptied several loads per cycle. The DOG kicked up very little dust, and after a few runs the floor looked almost new. There’s no vacuum, it’s just brooms guiding the stuff into the collection tray. To get this level of clean without moving cars etc out of the way is impressive. Given my low expectations, I was compelled to give a good review to my new friend.

I bought this having no prior experience with Roombas. It keeps my garages and workout room clean. It is meant for hard surfaces only. I have found it best to clean it thoroughly on a regular basis. It is amazing how much dog hair, dead bugs, leaves, etc. it collects, even in an area that looks OK to start with. My work areas have never been cleaner, and without much effort on my part! I just bought another for my Dad for Christmas, and recommend it to my friends and customers.
